We Plan to Join University of Michigan Health on September 1, 2025
On September 1, our practice, Michigan Reproductive Medicine, is expected to become part of University of Michigan Health! This is an exciting change and we’re thrilled that our patients will be connected into U-M Health’s highly respected statewide network of care, and the nationally recognized University of Michigan Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Our clinic is well positioned to further U-M Health’s commitment to increase access to world-class care, closer to home, for patients across Michigan.
After a brief closure for renovations and equipment upgrades starting on September 1, the clinic is expected to reopen later this fall as the University of Michigan Health Center for Reproductive Medicine at Bloomfield Hills.
Dr. Mersol-Barg will continue to provide care here, now as the medical director of the Bloomfield Hills clinic and a member of the University of Michigan Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
As part of U-M Health, the team at our Bloomfield Hills clinic will provide the same personalized care close to home that you have come to rely on, while also benefitting from being integrated into one of the nation’s top-ranked health systems.
A plan is being finalized to ensure ongoing care for our patients during the brief closure this fall. Patients with urgent needs will be seen at the Ann Arbor clinic.
Please be assured that if you have an appointment scheduled after August 31 that will be affected by our temporary closure, we will contact you directly to ensure your care remains seamlessly coordinated.
We are excited about this extraordinary opportunity for our clinic, and the additional resources that will be available to our patients and team members as we become part of U-M Health.
